It was wonderful today to watch the butterflies enjoying the last of the summer wine, here in Bucks County, South East PA. I was particularly happy when a gorgeous, perfectly formed monarch butterfly (m) showed up, since a few days ago our garden was host to one who’d recently emerged from its chrysalis but whose wings didn’t fully dilate.
