Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/19/2017

Number: 12

Weather is very nice. About 82 degrees with light wind around 10mph. Approximately 12 adults nectaring on tropical butterfly weed. Occasionally 1 or 2 will rest on low branches of live oak.
1 of them had a torn hindwing. 1 of them appeared to have a defect in its hindwing causing it to be bent or curled.
Sadly, I also found some remains of a monarch whose journey has come to an end.
