I had just gone out to mow and not gone far when an adult Monarch floated by! Sat and watched it until it disappeared. Still Painted Ladies and the little yellow butterflies around. Thought I had seen the last Monarch Sept. 22nd. We have had a hard frost but the temp dips and then bounces back to unusually warm temps. Birds and bugs don't know what to do!
