Altus and I saw our first Monarch of the fall on the Lavaca
Bay Causeway peninsula at 3:00 this afternoon. Large, dark
male nectaring on the short goldenrod and moving to the SW
skipping to other goldenrod that were hidden in the shoreline
grasses/weeds. Wind E@5, clear ... 76dF. Another front due
Sunday, possible showers.
