1st and 5th grade buddies at American Academy planted their bulbs according to directions. It has been unseasonably warm (in the 70s) this week after having snow and freezing temperatures for a few days last week. We planted in a flat area with dry hard dirt. We added garden soil to our holes and covered the tops with mulch.
We hope that the nearby prairie dogs don't eat our bulbs.
