The leaves have changed colours drastically...yellows, and oranges dominate. Leaves are falling and covering the forest floor and roads.
Geese are passing overhead and are resting in the farmer's fields. Woodpeckers and grey jays are at the suet now. Crows are gathering in large numbers. Different this year though: grass hasn't stopped growing..it usually slows down at the beginning of Sept. but not this year.It is still lush and green!
