I saw one adult male Monarch, a clouded sulphur, 2 Buckeyes and several painted ladies nectaring on zinnias and verbena bonariensis at Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Most of the natives have gone to seed. I hope there is enough nectar for these stragglers to make it to their final destination.
