Just south of Osceola, Wi (in standing cedars land preserve) we spotted a monarch late Thursday afternoon. It flew up and over the tree tops on a warm, sunny day.......strong south winds have dominated our beautiful October week.......not many days with north winds, and on those days it has been too cold this month.......next week looks cold and wet, so not too hopeful for survival from this point. But who knows.........
