After the overnight storm early Sunday afternoon. 66 degrees; wind NNW at 10 mph; 2.25” in the rain gauge.

A single monarch arrived in the garden, nectaring on tall verbena amid the little bluestem and faded false sunflower and cowpen daisy blooms. A picture of the monarch is attached.
