Saw, caught and tagged a male monarch SPY252 this afternoon around 4 PM. His hind wings were somewhat torn around the edges. Either he has been through some rough weather or has flown many miles from the place where he eclosed. Weather here very pleasant and warm in the mid 70s with a slight breeze from the south.
