Ms. McCarthy’s Science class at Willmar Senior High School planted tulip bulbs on October 17. The temperature was 63 degrees fahrenheit and it was warm and sunny. We split the bulbs and planted 28 in front of the Main Entrance in a raised bed and 28 near the Willmar High School sign.
The dirt felt dry. We dug 4 holes 8 inches deep, then planted 7 bulbs in each (7 inches deep and 4 inches apart). The following day, we planted one more hole with 7 bulbs by the sign.
