It was a sunny, windy and cool day when we set out to plant our tulip garden this year. Our Grade 2 and 3/4 classes planted 55 Red Emperor tulip bulbs. We went through the checklist before we planted to make sure it was a good spot. This is the latest we have planted our garden, as we are having a much warmer fall than usual. We are still having temperatures into the 20s and no snow in the forecast yet. we have had a few frosty mornings, but it warms up quite a bit by afternoon. Now we will wait and observe!
