Counted 14 in a short amount of time, flying south. Some stopped off at my flower gardens for re-fueling on my Mexican Sunflowers and Zinnias.

I normally only see one Monarch at a time, two at the most. So, for me to see 14 in about an hours time was a large number for my area. That is the first time since I've been watching for them (3 years), that I have seen that many. It was very exciting. I do wish I lived where I could see thousands of them.
