After 2 days of cool south winds and then 2 days of cold rain without observing monarchs, I discovered a male monarch on my Joe-pye-weed in my flower garden at 2:30 PM. Today it was mostly cloudy and the temperature was 48F. with the wind WNW-11 mph. I was able to use my last tag. Tag is XCS-849. This is the latest date that I have used a tag.
