While surveying a power line ROW for Georgia aster I observed 8 adult monarchs flying west along the 4 plus miles of line reviewed. I was surveying by walking an eastern direction; all Monarchs encountered where we’ll spaced apart and all flying west along the line thereby making same individual sighting unlikely. The temperature was approximately 60 degree F and it was sunny with some wind.
