One sighted on a milkweed bush in the front yard of my residence on a sunny, quite breezy-cool day. Then, flying from gaillardia to rose to salvia to the high tree branches and back to the milkweed.
I first saw the butterfly c. 11:00am CT, and saw the butterfly (same one?) about 3:30pm. We don't get many monarchs here; so, it seemed that this one was staying near the milkweed bush.
