I saw good activity at Raulston Arboretum the afternoon after Harry visited. I had more Monarchs and Painted Ladies than he had, about 20 of each, and also a couple dozen Fiery Skippers.
Harry noted that Monarchs are late this year and I concur. We’ve only seen about a dozen at the Museum this month, most in the past week or so. No Gulf Frits, Long-tailed Skippers or other unusual late-season species at all.
