I released (11) monarchs which I raised from caterpillars. They hatched on 10/10 and 10/11, but the weather was rainy & cool for the whole week. On 10/18/17, thankfully, it was a sunny and calm day, with temperature at 70 degrees. There is a field at this location that gets morning sun most of the day, so there are still some flowers, even after having frost.
