Sightings report image

Date: 10/27/2017

Number: 1

I was noticing that some purple coneflower had begun to rebloom (we've had a very mild autumn) when all of a sudden a beautiful male monarch flew in from the left and landed on the same flower I'd been looking at! He remained there for about 1/2-a-minute, then flew over to reblooming black-eyed susan for a few secs before continuing on his way south. I was able to get two nice photos, this is one, would love to post them both but don't know how?
