Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/22/2017

Number: 3

There were at least 3 monarchs in the garden nectaring all day long. They were seen for an hour or more and then one would fly out of the yard over the holly hedge, and then appear to return. Impossible to tell as one would leave and one would return, whether it was the same butterflies. They just drank and drank and drank, sample some of everything there-pineapple sage, astors, butterfly bush, tropical milkweed. nastursiums, and elegans zinnias.
