Reports from Presqu'ile Provincial Park, Ontario for October 31st. The key today was that the sun came out for a time:
Don Tyerman, Biodiversity Specialist, saw one monarch in Group Campground.
Birdwatcher Fred Helleiner reported seeing 3 in the park.
Karen Anderson from Lindsay wrote on Facebook: found 1 Monarch Butterfly at Presqu'ile Provincial Park, and was told of 2 others. Did not make it out to Gull Island because of the gale force winds. Lots of Dandelions still in bloom, Red and Alsike Clover in good quantities and Pale Smartweed. Oct 31 2017. Total of 5 species of butterflies today.
