We have a new wave of monarchs in the garden today, about 24, nectaring mostly on zinnias but also on Helianthus, Salvia, and Pineapple sage. It has warmed up again, to about 70. These monarchs seem large and healthy. I wonder if those we see from day to day are completely new butterflies that were not here the day before? They still have far to go!
