Found monarch just inside our north facing porch on the floor, wings straight up. Not moving. Temperature outside is 50F. Brought it inside. Fed it sugar water (which it "devoured") and sent it on it's way out a south window. It seemed to turn and head north, but I lost sight quickly. Realize I only delayed the inevitable for it. Doubt it'll make it to California or Mexico at this point.
