A very fresh looking monarch was fluttering around my mums around 2PM in 72o weather. Very late for a monarch around here, I thought! And I hardly have any flowers still blooming....even the asters have gone by. Hope he makes a safe journey south!
My earlier monarchs (6 or so) actually stuck around for about 1 week from Oct 2 to 9 when they all left.
