Two Monarchs seen today at the Tip at Point Pelee. One, a female was just resting on foliage off of West path & the other flitted in from West side over West path about 12' over my head & disappeared into the trees. Strong east wind.
No roosts located. None really expected after yesterday's sunny 10° day with favourable north wind which should have cleared out any monarchs in the area.
12°upon arrival around noon & 10° when departing at 3 pm mostly cloudy with brief sunny breaks.
Rain & possible severe thunderstorms tomorrow however north wind & sunshine forecast for Mon & Wed will be favourable for any stragglers which can still be seen through the month.
Two Painted Ladies still migrating also seen over West Path.
