Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/30/2017

Number: 41

Our second grade class was at the Botanical Gardens. Approximately most students counted 41 monarchs in two hours in the morning. Most monarchs were feeding on milkweed and other plants. Some were flying from plant to plant. It was about fifty degrees when we arrived so we witnessed them basking in the sun trying to warm up.
