Assateague Island National Seashore, while on my Pony Patrol shift helping protecting the Wild Pony herds along the ocean ,
26 Monarchs and 9 Painted Lady butterflies danced and landed on the last of the blooming Goldenrod plants on the sand dunes ... a warm day with a slight breeze .
