WOW! I went out to my flower garden and observed a male monarch on a marigold flower at 12:07 PM. I went and got my camera and when I took a picture it flew upward and I saw a tag! It flew strongly southwest. Weather was a cold 40F., and the wind NW-6 mph. The latest monarch I have ever had was November 4, 2015. The lowest temperature I ever saw a monarch was 46F.
