Donna and I went with Matt Campbell's Vert. Biology class to Pitt St Causeway today. Weather was 59 f, 7 mph N wind and overcast. We walked 600 m out to the end of the causeway from 1:20 until 2. 20 PM. we had 13 Monarchs all going NW or N. Between 2:20 and 3:30 PM on the return to the cars (600 m) we had an additional 3 Monarch w/o any orientation.
