There is a male Rufous in an area called The Woodlands suburb. It is "trap feeding" at other neighborhood feeders relayed to me by G Clark Houston Chronicle Nature columnist. It was sighted first as of two weeks ago around Nov. 2,2017.
One of our feeders level is dropping daily about an inch at a time. Hopefully we will get a showing of hummer this weekend sitting at it when jet stream drops this far south bringing cold.
That's when we see Rufous more often.

Houston sighters start watching for Rufous. They are coming in.
