It was colder last night. We got our first frost. In the afternoon when the sun warmed us we saw 5 monarch butterflies. Some were visiting loquat trees and some were visiting the few Mexican sunflowers and a few other flowers in what has been a good butterfly garden this year but flowers are not plentiful at this time. I want them to go to a warmer place.
