I have again had an adult male at my feeder -- for the last few weeks I have only seen an adult male and I am wondering if it is the same one>

I only see the male at my feeder -- and my Turk's Hat Mallow -- occasionally, and so cannot be certain it's the same hummer. It is clearly not surviving on occasional visits to my garden and I wonder if it is now resident for the winter and living mainly on insects? I am right by a large saltwater marsh with lots of insects!!!
