My friend of mine sent me a photo he took of a male monarch on a spruce tree just north of Harrisville. He gave me Latitude 44.667011/Longitude -83.289857 at around 2 PM. Weather was sunny and 62F. This would be the latest I have heard of a monarch this late in the fall season anywhere in Michigan. The past week had a low temperature of 10F. and a high temperature of 52F. Otherwise, November temperatures have been low 20's to low 50's with no snow cover. I got this report on December 01, 2017.
