I have recently planted my own butterfly garden and in the past 7 weeks (mostly from mid-October to the beginning of November), I have successfully raised and released 14 healthy Monarchs...9 females and 5 males. Additionally, I hand-raised 3 Monarchs from those hatchlings that were never released into the wild due to deformities (2 females and 1 male).

On 12/05/17 and 12/06/17, the same male Monarch visited my butterfly garden several times and I was able to capture some beautiful photos of him! This was not one of the Monarchs that I had previously released in October 2017.
