I thought I had made this report long ago, but I could not find it in my online journal. We saw 2 second instars on the small number of milkweed along the shore at the State Park. I believe it was a total of 5 plants. We saw 1 adult at the lighthouse way station but no larvae there. The lighthouse waystation is severely infected with phytoplasma, the syriaca and tuberosa are almost destroyed. The waystation garden may become a total loss in terms of milkweed.
