Not certain if I'm reporting correctly. The robins have been overwintering here in fairly good numbers. Each evening there are repeated waves. Usually 2 to 3 dozen at a time. Morning brings foraging activity. In January I would see a total of about 2,000 in the evening. They seem to be thinning out a little bit now. Hurricane Irma took down quite a few cherry laurel trees (among others) in this area. So there is less food for them.
