The little Monarch caterpillar a friend gave me was found on a scraggly piece of Asclepias fascicularis. I am happy to let you know it safely emerged from its chrysalis on Feb. 2, 2018 in Petaluma, CA. With a temperature of 70 degrees! Lucky girl!
