Brutally cold winter here. In the low 50's the last few days with almost 3 inches of rain allowed some thawing of the ground. Spotted 5 moving across the cement block patio, as they always do after certain rains. I did notice earthworm castings a couple of weeks ago after another brief warm period of 2-3 days. The tops of daffodils and crocus have been emerging the last 3 weeks.

Still waiting for the first Robins!
