6 pupa hatched and flew away over a four day period ending 2-10-18.
2 males and 4 females.
Started with 10 cats on a "hidden milkweed plant. After 4 of them probably went walk-about, due to the cold nights, the remaining 6 were placed in a butterfly cage, indoors, where over the next 3-4 days they all formed their chrysalis, then eventually hatched and were released back into the garden and they flew away, to the west towards Ventura.
