Saw 22 beautiful bald eagles on ice floe in Annsville Creek Hudson Highlands State Park on Route 9 about 1/2 hour from my home ... AWESOME!!! They were sharing a fish one of them had caught, calmly perched in a straight line on the ice, occasionally soaring over the area for a brief "stretch" not too high up; one was feeding another a bit apart from the rest. We watched this spectacular gift for quite some time until we eventually had to force ourselves to continue on. What a gift!!! Hope to go back and find them there again!
