Observed two male Red-winged Blackbirds this morning before 8 AM at the birdfeeders. One male had bright red and bright yellow wing bars; the other male had dull yellow wing bars only. The bold colored male did not eat at the feeders while the dull colored male did eat from some seed scattered on the ground. Neither one was seen again during the day.
