The first Red-winged Blackbird arrived today at my feeder - thereby heralding in the spring. It was a lone bird - male - likely a young bird. I am located at the junction of North Road and Lakeshore Road in the southwestern corner of Norfolk county, (hamlet of) Houghton Centre.
