First heard singing outside. The initial song I heard was the True Song, but I did also hear the Peek and Tut calls as well.

I would say that more than likely it was just tuning up. While the time, late afternoon/early evening, was right for a territorial proclamation it wasn't the consistent repeat of the song that I would associate with establishing a territory. We do have robins that nest nearby, so I'm sure that before long we'll start to hear the constant establishment of territory but I haven't heard or seen the robins yet that I associate with that time of year.
