Chirping in the ash tree in my back yard. It was the true song, I believe, a most welcome sound after such a long, cold, snowy winter (not that it's over yet).

I have not heard them today (2/23) so I guess they were just tuning up. It's even possible they over-wintered here as they have done in the past, however, this has been a nasty winter so it's unlikely.
