Rufous still here and did not like 3 days of heavy fog. Finally sunshine today in 80's. Prefers west side window feeder in sun, patio feeder in fog/cold. But more rain/cold front coming in two days, back into low 50's.
It looks like more feathers of orange on its neck develiping all over more. Burnt orange stomach area now. Molting still in a scratch mode of its feathers. This goes on early 7 a.m. sitting on twig of Holy tree 15 feet up on east side of house adjacent to patio. It also displays a fly up and down, out of tree at times.
