Robins are busy singing their true song, finding worms and not as numerous as last month.
Also saw about 10 Cedar Waxwings on our Flowering Crab tree with robins eating berries.
Maybe just tuning up, as it was late afternoon, not evening or morning when I heard them. We are having a huge windstorm today so they could have been anticipating the weather!
Editor's note: We have moved this report to Robin (WAVE Seen) since the robin was "tuning up" as hormone level rise rather than proclaiming territory which is meant to drive off other robins and a prelude to nesting.
Please report again when you hear robins singing on territory.
