I saw two red winged blackbirds this morning at roughly 10:15 a.m. I have a couple of bird feeders that I keep filled the entire winter that the birds and deer help themselves to. The black birds were feeding on the seeds that had fallen.
So, I think i’ll Switch my allegiance from Wharton Willie to the red winged black bird for predicting spring!
