The local temperature climbed above 70F earlier in the week. And I hadn't spotted a single robin as yet.
However, on February 24th (when the temperature barely made it to 40F) there was a WAVE of robins in our front yard and the yards of several of our neighbors.
I listed "24" for "How many?" but it was probably many more. They were difficult to count as they were very active flying about among trees and bushes and hopping around on the ground.
Since then I've seen at least a few robins, if not necessarily a wave, almost every day, despite several snowstorms along the way. (I'm writing this on 3/7/2018 as the second nor'easter in a week makes its way up the east coast.)
