Saw 16 Robins at the park right by our house. I saw them there last week and reported that.
Yesterday though (3/19), heard one singing. The first I have heard singing this year of 2018. It is the "Peek and Tut " calls but
it was mostly the "Peek".
I was pretty close to the birds but I wasn't chasing them.
I stopped to look at them but that one calling to me could
have felt threatened I suppose. That one was coming a
little towards me as it was singing. The other 15 were just
looking at the grass and walking around.
It is still very cold here in Northwest Indiana. Temperature rose to 30 degrees yesterday and today.
No snow on the ground though.
I think it should be warming up a little very soon.
