Am quite surprised that I am not seeing many Monarchs at my waystation after reports of hundreds being spotted in South Texas along the coast. I only saw 1 flying down my street but it did not visit the waystation. Also, about 8 total have visited since March 15. I wonder which migratory path they are taking up north? Last year they traveled west of Houston. We had a cold front come through several days ago that has brought very cool mornings in the 50s this week, but nice and warm afternoons.
